Vanguard Television Network (VTN) will be the first 24 hour cable network dedicated to the enrichment and empowerment of women of color.

Traditionally, women of color have been untapped and underserved by the media. VTN will offer an alternative to negative images shown in the media and expose the public to the diversity of women.

Women of color are hungry to see positive images of themselves in the media and are eager to have a forum to showcase their work.

VTN's goal is to empower and uplift by encouraging women of color to either star in, write, direct and/or produce their own programming.
